Alyssa Bruno

Writer/Producer

As the writer of the project, I wanted to try my hardest to portray mental illness in a better light than is often done in the media. Many times the realities are either glamourized or films have turned those who live with their respective mental illnesses and people to be feared. I believe with a platform as strong as film and television, it is important to shed light on the reality and bright back the harsh realism and the humanity to depicting those who live with mental illnesses, especially complex disorders like PTSD.

Alyssa Fratangeli

Producer

I love the behind the scenes elements of film, and have naturally fell into the producer role throughout my third and fourth years of college. I love being able to oversee production and provide the support needed for our amazing crew to bring the project to life.

Teryn Lawson

Director

I felt connected to the characters and got caught up in visualizing their struggles when reading the first few drafts of the script. From there, it's been a delight to observe the progression of the project and how far the film came through all the stages of collaboration. The subject matter is a delicate topic, and so, with the accumulated knowledge from our ongoing research process, there is emphasis on approaching the themes from both a believable yet creative standpoint in order to produce an impressionistic piece.

Julius Velarde

Director of Photography

What I enjoy about being a DoP is being able to further tell a story through camera and lighting. By envisioning the film alongside the Director, I find it gratifying having it all come together in production.

Rodolfo Alexandre

1st Assistant Director

I’ve serendipitously fallen into AD roles in the past and it has become one of the positions that I have more affinity to. In a way it is similar to being a host to the shoot. By making sure everyone on set is happy and on time I can provide the crew with an environment where they can execute their work properly and efficiently. To me the feel you have on set is undoubtedly translated into the final product.

Lighting plays a large part in selling the space and helping the atmosphere feel more effective at conveying the story's overall tone.

Lan Zhao

Production Designer

I felt 10-33 was exceptional in the topics it chose and the people it focused on. I'm glad to be a part of it as a production designer and VFX editor. I hope from the scenes setting, wardrobe and special effects could give each character a richer character and enhance the audience's impression of them. In terms of design, I thought not to design too fancy, but the setting that blends the theme without being abrupt.

Taylor Gaudon

Casting Director

Everything starts with the casting. Especially with a film that deals with emotional topics, ensuring that the actors are up to the challenge is the first step to getting a good final product.

Melanie Matsubuchi

Script Supervisor

I love everything there is about editing and spotting small things that go overlooked so it was a huge honour that this crew brought me on to script supervise and be apart of their thesis film.

Szabi Nagy

Camera Operator

I love being hands on with the camera, working as a camera operator on this film allowed me to do just that. I love how I am able to achieve the visual goals of the DOP while adding my own personal touches to each shot. Its a really satisfying crew position not only because I’m around cameras the whole time, but also because of its creative freedom, and its ability to capture each crew member’s hard work through every shot.

Amanda Wright

1st Assistant Camera

Amanda is an emerging filmmaker who’s specialty is working in the Camera Department pulling focus. Her favourite part of the job is hearing the directors ooh and aah at the monitor where the focus is picture perfect and the cinematography is worthy of a chefs kiss.

Micah Rose

2nd Assistant Camera

I love working in the camera department because I find helping a script come to life visually is such a rewarding experience. It's immensely satisfying seeing everyone's hard work coming together in front of you, especially on films such as 10-33 that send a powerful and important message about something that is often overlooked.

Miya Liu

Key Grip

I am personally interested in psychological related researches in my life. I've found out most people have struggled with mental illness all the time since quarantine started. I think this project is a good way at a good time to bring awareness to mental health. And I'm glad we have an opportunity to make this film out.
