About The Film 10-33

10-33 follows Melanie Jones, a Toronto Paramedic, one month after a traumatic car crash claimed a life in front of her. Her days and nights are blended together repeatedly as she spends her nights using work or readings to distract herself from horrid nightmares. Even when faced with questioning she tries to keep her struggles from her sister Becca, and her partner Evan, something that becomes almost impossible to do as time goes on. It comes to a head when she experiences a trauma episode at work, causing her to freeze. When Evan confronts her enforcing the idea of her getting help, she finds the courage to confide in her sister.
